Pittsburgh United is a non-profit coalition of community, labor, faith, and environmental organizations. In 2016 they advocated for the creation of the Housing Opportunity Fund to help seniors on a fixed income, people working low wage jobs, and people with disabilities have the opportunity to have safe and secure homes.
Ampersand Consulting provided mail, strategic consulting, and phone services for Pittsburgh United’s successful campaign to establish the Housing Opportunity Fund. Ampersand advised on the voter contact portion of the campaign by connecting supporters of the HOF with their representative on City Council. Our innovative methodology in the phone program was recognized with a Silver Pollie.
